Twins in a dream point to two things growing in your life at the same time, or to two sides of yourself standing side by side. Myth’s most famous pair are the Dioscuri, Castor and Pollux. Legend has it that one was mortal and one immortal; when Castor died, Pollux asked to share his immortality with his brother, and Zeus divided their days between Olympus and the underworld. The constellation Gemini carries their name, and ancient sailors linked the glow that sometimes danced on masts in a storm to them.
